  9. rem now the soundcard was tried to be initialized. if the initialization
  10. rem failed, silicium player will display an error message with some
  11. rem 'what to do'. for further details on troubleshooting, please read the
  12. rem appropriate section of the documentation.

  14. rem quick help for troubleshooting:
  15. rem I) exit the windows 95 players that are running in the background.
  16. rem II) if no player is running, please do the followings:
  17. rem     a) start a wave player under windows 95 (such as media player)
  18. rem     b) start a wave file
  19. rem     c) stop it (the length of the playing does not matter)
  20. rem     d) quit the player
  21. rem     e) start the dos prompt again
  22. rem it has to work now

  24. rem if the soundcard was initialized successfully, silicium player
  25. rem will now start.
